Vertical Takeoff Acceleration Asymmetry
A measure of the difference in Vertical Takeoff Acceleration (VTA) between feet. High VTA asymmetry (>25%) occurs when one side leaves the ground at a faster rate than the other. This can mean either poorer push ability on one side, fatigue/weakness/pain, or a protective strategy.
Asymmetry measures are best used in conjunction with a baseline for each individual, as every person has inherent asymmetries.
