Horizontal Push-off

The peak accelerations in the world horizontal plane as the foot leaves the ground.

Horizontal Push-off is calculated every time the foot leaves the ground, and is a means of quantifying strategy used to create energy.

Note that Horizontal Push-off is different from the y-axis signal, because the y-axis changes orientation as the foot moves through space. Horizontal Push-off is purely parallel to the ground.
