Plantiga 2.45

First mobile app, improved design, and upcoming context files + automated summaries

Plantiga is now on the App Store and Google Play

Our first native mobile app is live today. If you've been using our web app as a saved page on your phone, delete it and replace it with the app instead. It will be a much better experience.

Pull up an athlete, review a session, or drill into a walk, run, or jump — all from your phone, with the speed of a native app instead of a browser tab.

You can also set up the home base from the app on your phone now.

Search "Plantiga" on the App Store or Google Play, download the app, and log in with your existing credentials.

Web app redesign

We also used this release to make mobile and desktop more consistent, and to clean up navigation on both:

  • Search is now site-wide. Instead of searching within individual sections, you can search the entire site from one place in the top bar. On desktop, press "/" to jump to it from anywhere.

  • The left nav has changed to reflect the search update and match the new mobile structure. If you can't find something that used to be in the sidebar, it's likely now in search.

  • Settings and org switching have moved. Both now live in the bottom bar instead of a side menu, matching where you'd expect them on mobile. The bottom bar now also includes Learn and Blog. You can create a new org from the same place to purchase an additional subscription.

  • Metadata and reports have a new home. Both now live as tabs — Info and Report — at the top of each activity page, instead of in the side drawer.

This cleanup is also groundwork for bringing Norman further into chat, where you'll be able to track past chats and what was done in them instead of starting fresh each time.

What’s next: context files & automated Norman summaries

Every athlete profile will get a context file. Fill it out once and update it as needed — it's a running snapshot of:

  • What phase of training the athlete is in

  • What injury they're managing

  • Background on their injury history

  • What their goals are right now

  • Any other relevant notes

Norman will use the context file when generating summaries, flagging changes worth reporting. Norman summaries will be pushed to the mobile app as a notification. This also opens the door to more Norman chat and agentic features.

One thing to note

The app is new, and we'll be iterating quickly. If something doesn't feel right - like a missing screen or a workflow that was easier on desktop - let us know. Just reply to this email directly.
