Jump Height (Maximum)
Maximum jump height is the greatest vertical displacement of the centre of mass, based on flight time of the feet. Cyclic jump height is a commonly used performance measure as it reflects power production around the ankle. Changes in jump height can be an indicator for neuromuscular fatigue.
Cyclic jumps and postactivation potentiation - Performing 10 cyclic hops before a drop jump activity increased jump height by 12%, likely due to postactivation potentiation of the triceps surae.
