Andrea Hudy, PhD

Andrea Hudy, PhD is a strength and conditioning coach with nearly three decades of experience training elite collegiate and professional basketball athletes. She is currently in her 28th year as a collegiate strength coach, now serving as Director of Sports Performance for Women's Basketball at the University of Connecticut.

Hudy built much of her reputation during 15 seasons at the University of Kansas (2004–2019), where she served as Assistant Athletics Director for Sport Performance and helped develop 11 NBA Lottery picks and 24 NBA Draft selections, including No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins and No. 3 pick Joel Embiid. She later spent two seasons (2019–2021) as Head Coach of Basketball Strength and Conditioning at the University of Texas, overseeing both the men's and women's programs. Earlier in her career, she spent nine years at UConn (1995–2004) working across men's and women's basketball and men's soccer.

Across her career, Hudy has been part of championship-winning programs, including national titles in men's basketball, women's basketball, and men's soccer, and has trained more than 80 former student-athletes who went on to play in the NBA or WNBA.

Hudy holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in Sport Biomechanics from UConn, and an MBA from the University of Kansas, and has pursued Ph.D. studies in Exercise Science at UConn. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, which named her National College Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2013 and honored her with its Impact Award in 2017. In 2014, she published her book, Power Positions. Kansas also became the first collegiate program to adopt SpartaTrac force plate technology under her direction, reflecting her long-standing emphasis on integrating emerging performance technology into training.

Petteri Lahtela

Petteri Lahtela is a Finnish entrepreneur and co-founder of Oura Health, the company behind the Oura Ring, one of the most widely used wearable devices for sleep and recovery tracking. He founded Oura in Oulu, Finland, in 2013 alongside Kari Kivelä and Markku Koskela, and served as the company's founding CEO from 2014 to 2018, later continuing as Chief Innovation Officer and President until his departure in 2020.

Under Lahtela's leadership, Oura grew from an early-stage Finnish startup into a globally recognized health technology company, now valued at over $2.5 billion with more than two and a half million rings sold worldwide. He led the decision to build the product as a ring rather than a wrist-worn device, based on the finger's ability to deliver more accurate biometric data, and helped shape Oura's global-first approach to market from the company's earliest days.

Lahtela holds a bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science and a master's degree in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications, along with an Executive MBA in International Business from the University of Oulu. Since leaving Oura, he has continued working as a serial entrepreneur and investor focused on human health and lifestyle innovation, and remains a frequent speaker on wearable technology, wellness, and startup growth.

Mike Atkinson

Mike Atkinson is an NBA Performance Coach, entrepreneur, and founder of NSTNCT, with more than 20 years of experience in human performance. His career spans the NBA and G League, private performance, international coach education, and the development of elite athletes across multiple levels of basketball.

A former Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Westchester Knicks, Atkinson has worked with NBA All-Stars, champions, lottery picks, and emerging professional athletes throughout his career. Today, he serves as Director of Performance for Black Ops Basketball in New York City while leading NSTNCT and the NSTNCT Movement Lab.

His work centers on Movement Intelligence™ — understanding how athletes organize, adapt, and express movement, then translating that information into better performance decisions. His approach combines the coaching eye, movement assessment, athlete context, and objective technology rather than relying on any single metric or test.

As a Clinical Advisor to Plantiga, Atkinson brings an applied performance perspective to the development and implementation of real-world movement intelligence. His work with Plantiga connects longitudinal movement data and AI-driven analysis with the decisions coaches and athletes make every day.

Atkinson has also led performance education internationally, including work with hundreds of coaches and athletes throughout Asia, and his work and expertise have been featured by ESPN, The Wall Street Journal, Dime and STACK.

Susan King-Borchardt

Susan King-Borchardt is the Director of Performance at the NY Liberty, as well as Director of Performance & Recovery at Unrivaled, where she oversees performance and recovery initiatives for the league's athletes. She also directs The Athlete Blueprint, working directly with athletes to build individualized performance plans, and has served as a Women's National Team Performance Coach for USA Basketball.

A former Division I basketball player at Stanford under Tara VanDerveer, Susan was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2005 WNBA Draft before injuries redirected her career toward performance training. She has more than 17 years of experience designing and implementing high-performance training programs for professional, collegiate, and amateur athletes, with expertise spanning strength, conditioning, injury prevention, movement mechanics, nutrition, and recovery.

Her career includes stints as a Sports Performance Consultant and Manager for the Seattle Storm, an Intercollegiate Athletic Development Specialist at Stanford working with the Cardinal women's basketball program, and earlier work in Spain as an assistant coach and strength and conditioning specialist. She has trained numerous WNBA athletes, including Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart, and is known for combining rigorous conditioning work with attentive, individualized athlete care.

Paul Robbins

Paul Robbins is a sport scientist with more than two decades of experience in elite performance monitoring across the NBA, NFL, NHL, and professional tennis. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sports Performance at KINEXON, an RFID-based sport tracking company, where he oversaw performance consulting for teams and athletes, having joined in 2017.

Prior to KINEXON, Paul spent 14 seasons overseeing in-game performance data for the NBA as Director of Performance for STATS, while also bringing his expertise to the NFL, NHL, German professional sports leagues, and the USTA. Before that, he spent more than a decade with EXOS (formerly Athletes' Performance) as a metabolic specialist, where he also oversaw NFL Combine testing preparation.

Paul has served as a board member for Kenzen, a metabolic-monitoring wearable company, and for Plantiga, and sits on both the USTA Sports Science Committee and the NHL Combine Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in physical education with an emphasis in exercise science from SUNY Cortland, and a master's degree in exercise physiology from California University of Pennsylvania.

Brandon Stone, PhD

Brandon Stone, PhD, is Manager of Performance Science for the Colorado Rockies, a role he has held since joining the organization in January 2024. He oversees the club's applied sport science and biomechanics initiatives, including its pitching and hitting performance laboratories, leading the integration of biomechanical, physiological, and performance data to inform player evaluation, movement strategies, and in-game decision-making.

Before joining the Rockies, Brandon served as Director of Sport Science at the University of Oklahoma and Sport Science Coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays. He also spent time as a Senior Sports Physiologist with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, and earlier in his career worked within the Army Special Operations Human Performance Program and as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Denver.

Brandon earned his Ph.D. in Cellular and Behavioral Neurobiology from the University of Oklahoma. His career spans sport science, physiology, and human performance across professional baseball, Olympic sport, collegiate athletics, and military human performance settings.
